Two Days of Christmas and We’re Not Done Yet

Good morning!

How was your Christmas? Ours was wonderful.

Little man was sick, but he was still in good spirits.

Christmas Eve we spent with Brandon’s dad and step mom. I didn’t take any pictures there (#fail) but it was nice to see everyone. For as long as we’ve been together, I’ve spent Christmas Eve with my mom’s sister and her family while Brandon goes to hang with his dad. Since we have a child now, it’s hard to separate so we decided to do things differently this year. It worked out great.

Christmas morning (pic above) we went to my parents’ house and had brunch. Homemade biscuits and gravy ftw! Seriously my mom makes THE best on the planet.

Brandon saw a picture on facebook one day for sausage biscuits.

My mom’s B&G doesn’t have any sausage in it so I decided to make them for him.

Shocker: They were super easy and really delicious. I will definitely be making them again in the future.

After breakfast, the craziness began. We opened presents. With four little boys.

Oy vey. Gavin, my nephew Mason, and my nephew Owen really weren’t too into it. They’re still pretty little. But Bentley. He is a hoot!

I can’t wait for Gavin to be his age! Next Christmas will be so much fun!

We packed up in the afternoon and headed to Brandon’s mom’s house.

I was excited to go there because I knew of one gift Gavin was definitely getting.

A vacuum!

He is obsessed with mine. Obsessed might even be an understatement.

He points at the closet where my vacuum is stored and makes some noise to make me aware he wants to play with it. The first 100 times was fun, but that is exhausting. I tell ya, my house has never been cleaner.

Oh and ya see that spatula in the picture above? Another thing he’s obsessed with: “cooking.” He is definitely a momma’s boy so anything I’m doing, he wants in on. I thought about getting him a play set but he wants the real deal. Plus I can just throw them in the dishwasher so nbd.

We got Nitro (our pup) a new bed for Christmas.

I think someone was a little confused who’s bed it was. Rides on the new mattress! It’s actually really comfortable.

We had a great Christmas. I didn’t take too many pictures. I took a couple videos, but I mainly wanted to enjoy our family, and I totally did.

We have one more Christmas to celebrate this week. Yay for more food! ;) ha!

What was the highlight of your Christmas?
